# Get Chat Message (/api-reference/fanvue/chat-messages/get-chat-message)

Get a single message by UUID, so a message reference can be resolved without re-reading the whole chat. Proxies Fanvue's `GET /v1/chats/{userUuid}/messages/{messageUuid}`.
